Naming your child can be an awfully difficult affair for some parents and this next story is proof of just that and more.

A mother is making headlines after choosing to give her daughter a peculiar name. And you’ll be stunned at how she found nothing wrong with the fact that she would be called ‘Tree’ for the rest of her life.

The mom has gone on to speak about how a tree was something that gave life and was so resourceful as it provided oxygen to so many people. But little did she know that people would get after her for choosing such a name.

The 33-year-old Canadian beautician says all of her kids’ names have arisen after a lot of thought and careful planning.

While her daughter’s name is Chree, it’s actually pronounced as a tree. And the reason why she was forced to change it had to do with the fact that people thought it was a nickname for drugs.

Let’s not forget the type of awkward stares that she tends to get from people across the board. They just find it so hard to digest the fact that such a name even exists in the first place.

The woman who loves sharing bits and pieces of her life online revealed that it’s not uncommon for people to bash her across the board.

And while her family has finally opted to accept the name, it’s the hate she gets from trolls and critics that really has her in a state of fury.

“People always tell me to reconsider the name and how I am setting the child up for disaster. But this is something very personal to me. I want it to stop”- she concluded.
