Travis Kelce’s ex-girlfriend has broken her silence and warned Taylor Swift to stay away from her new boyfriend.
31-year-old Maya Benberry is a reality star who dated Kelce for a few months after winning the Kansas City Chiefs tight end’s dating show by E! in 2016.
Their relationship, however, came to an abrupt end when the young woman accused the footballer of cheating on her with sports broadcaster Kayla Nicole.
“Once a cheater always a cheater,” Benberry declared in an interview with DailyMail.com.
“Taylor seems like such a fun girl with a beautiful spirit so I wish her the best of luck but I wouldn’t be a girls’ girl if I didn’t advise her to be smart!
“I’m sure by now she has mastered the ability to see who is really there for her – and who is just using her.”
Benberry went on to say that only time will show how the relationship turns while reiterating that cheaters always stay cheaters.
Benberry’s stark warning comes shortly after Swift was seen cheering her boyfriend on during a football match in Kansas City on Sunday.
During the game, the singer was pictured screaming her lungs out while bonding with Kelce’s mother in the stadium.
After the Kansas City Chiefs’ win against the Chicago Bears, Taylor and Travis were pictured leaving the stadium together. It was later reported that the pair rented out an entire restaurant for their late-night outing.
“I told her that I’ve seen her rock a stage in Arrowhead and she might have to come see me rock the stage at Arrowhead. We’ll see what happens in the near future,” Kelce previously said as he admitted inviting the superstar to see him play.
Meanwhile, his teammate Patrick Mahomes spoke to the reporters and revealed the entire team was under a lot of pressure after seeing Swift in the audience.
“Do you realize how much pressure was on you from the Swifties to get Travis Kelce a touchdown with Taylor in the house today?” he said.
“I heard she was in the house… I felt a little bit of pressure and so I knew I had to get it to Trav. And of course, it was on a route he does his own thing and just makes up a route and I threw it to him. I think he wanted to get in the end zone as much as all the Swifties wanted him to.”
