As many as 42 people were injured after a train crash in the Czech Republic this morning.
Two of the victims were described as critically injured as emergency services were seen rushing to the scene of the crash near the city of Ceske Budejovice at about 6:20 am. Traffic between the two areas was halted and is not expected to go back to normal anytime soon.
Authorities are currently investigating the matter as local reports spoke about how one train went through a red stoplight.
This is a breaking story as authorities are still investigating the matter but initial reports did speak about how one of the trains is believed to have run a red stop light, giving rise to the tragedy.
