A 13-year-old girl from Baker, Louisiana went missing around October 20, 2025, has now been found.

According to reports from local media outlets, she was found inside a basement of a home that is present on Davis Avenue in the Brighton Heights neighborhood of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Shockingly, she was located inside a box that was covered with a sheet, sources revealed.

Shocking details revealed how she met a 26-year-old man named Ki-Shawn Crumity over the social media app Snapchat. He told her that he would arrange for her adoption with a trusted adult, but little did she know about his evil intentions.

Once at the Crumity home, the girl and Crumity, and an unidentified woman allegedly slept inside the basement, and the girl was given cannabis edibles and some alcohol.

She explained to investigators that she was sexually assaulted at least once or twice a day during the week when she was held captive. Upon rescue, she told the hospital how safe she felt in a long time.

Crumity was arrested and is facing serious charges, including human trafficking, assault of a minor, unlawful contact with a minor, and corruption of a child.

The culprit has now been arrested in Georgia for helping transport her. As per the investigators, more arrests are to come as the investigation continues.
