One female tourist says she was left shaken to the core after a Queen’s guardsman was caught screaming at her for touching reins present on his horse.
A man by the name of Ethan is going viral on TikTok after he put up a video on the popular social media app featuring the Queen’s guardsmen yelling at a fellow tourist when she tried to touch his horse’s reign.
Ethan mentioned how he was so scared and had never seen anything like that awful reaction in his life. Moreover, he even vowed to his audience members on TikTok that he would never be returning to London again after such disgraceful behavior.
But many TikTok users from the United Kingdom were quick to school the tourist on how he was wrong to put all the blame on the Queen’s guard, adding how it was indeed the female tourist’s fault for engaging in such behavior. Therefore, according to them, she got what she deserved.
Social media was filled with all sorts of comments like, “What you reap, you shall sow” and “She deserved it!”
Clearly, others disagreed, including those from other countries who felt there could have been a better way to handle the situation. After all, she was a tourist who belonged to a different country and hence maybe didn’t know what was wrong and what was right, when it came down to royal protocol.
In the video which is now going viral on social media, the TikToker is seen recording the blonde-haired woman who he later revealed was his stepmom!
She is seen moving toward the animal and standing right next to the soldier in uniform. He was seen seated on the horse which was tall and black in appearance.
The exact location of the incident was described to be right outside Buckingham Palace, where hundreds of tourists gather and wait in line for hours to strike a pose and have their images taken.
But then as soon as she began touching the horse’s reins, the horse started to behave nervously and that prompted the soldier to yell: “Stand back and don’t touch the Queen’s lifeguard and his reins!”
The woman can be seen to be in a startling mode and literally jumped up while moving away swiftly as that was not something she had expected.
