Now, one woman is expressing her absolute fury after her mom found it right to alter her wedding dress. According to her, it was uncalled for. But her mother says that she thought it was the right decision and being her parent, she had every right in the world.
The woman immediately broke down into tears regarding the matter and explained how she had so many hopes to appear as a fairytale princess. But in one go, her mom canceled that by choosing to do something that was against her wishes.
The bride took to the forum on Reddit to unveil how her mom is a little on the conservative side so to hear that her attire was revealing gave her anxiety. Therefore, she went behind her back and decided to get it altered herself. But that certainly was not the right decision, she felt.
“When I saw the alteration, I became furious. And it was time for me to go back and return the gown that I had adored. And it just made me so upset. How dare she ruin my big day!”- the woman added.
She even spoke about how she burst into tears when hearing about the matter. And when her mom saw her in this manner, she claimed that it was just an overreaction.
The mother justified her actions by adding how no bride should be showing this much cleavage. And since her daughter was on the bustier side, there was just a lot of room for improvement, she felt.
