The climate activist who shocked the world by drenching Van Gough’s masterpiece work of art is finally breaking her silence.
According to sources from local media outlets, the woman says she had no intention of throwing the tomato soup at the famous painting. But it just happened out of anger.
Moreover, she is now apologizing and stating that she would never ever try to damage or disrespect the art maestro who spent years perfecting his piece. But many people aren’t convinced as viral footage shown on social media painted a whole different picture.
In that, she can be seen slamming cans of tomato soup at the painting in absolute fury while horrified onlookers watched from a distance.
Many couldn’t believe their eyes as security officials rushed to attend to the scene and arrest the woman, who was reportedly dragged away.
The activists for climate change wished to make a mark at the historic art gallery that features some more art masterpiece classics But this definitely not something anyone would expect in an area as dignified as this.
The painting is stated to be worth a staggering $84 million and that just goes to show how prized of a possession it was.
Many claim the woman’s apology is absolutely bogus and she should be sentenced to a period in jail because if not, others would have the audacity to follow in her footsteps and do the same.
Thankfully, the damage wasn’t done to the painting but it was definitely a close call, explained experts located at the crime scene.
