The famous Titanic filmmaker James Cameron says he’s been reached out to several times for making a film on the OceanGate tragedy.
According to reports from local media outlets, the top movie maker confirmed how calls for an explosive drama series have been made regarding the heartbreaking incident.
James Cameron was seen speaking about how the streaming network just wants him to get on board and make the movie that would arise in the form of a drama series. This would be related to the Titan submersible disaster which ended up killing five individuals.
Insiders revealed how the tragedy that really took the world by surprise would now be turned into a drama series and while it’s painful for the loved ones to even begin to imagine how that would turn out, there’s not a lot that they can do in that respect.
The OceanGate submersible reportedly lost all contact with its mother vessel on June 18 and that led to huge teams of diving experts and the coast guard to take part in a mega search operation.
But little did anyone know or realize that it imploded underwater. And that led to the heartbreaking loss of lives of all those on board.

Cameron was able to beautifully depict the Titanic story and win the hearts of millions for his fabulous project. Now, a list of actors is also being added to the wishlist, and among those include Matt Damon, sources went on to confirm.
