A progressive teacher was seen filming herself telling her young children that she had the best news ever!

That prompted one of the girls to ask in an excited manner if Donald Trump had died, leaving viewers shocked and baffled.

Krista Cole, who is a substitute teacher from Colorado Springs Public School, filmed herself speaking to the girls regarding the query last month.

After the young children seemed to get it all wrong regarding Trump, she asked them what the second-best news could be. And that had them again excited about how the Vice President might have died. Cole, whose partner is Lt. Colonel Adam Cole, with the National Guard, then asked for the third best news.

That’s when the daughter responded with ‘Elon Musk had died!’- again leaving the viewers baffled.

Cole finally decided to end the girls’ suspense by actually sharing the news that she referred to Taylor Swift’s engagement to NFL superstar Travis Kelce. This encounter had erupted on social media in the wake of conservative commentator Charlie Kirk’s assassination at a Utah college on September 10.

Since the video was published online, it has received plenty of criticism across the board, with many slamming the mother for thinking this kind of behavior is okay, while others call for action.
