Actress Scarlett Johansson has chosen to take a defiant stand in the ongoing legal battle between Justin Baldoni and Blake Lively, who is married to her former husband Ryan Reynolds.
The star could have refused to pass comments on the drama, but she made it a point to raise her voice on the subject.
To many people’s surprise, she made the shocking decision to defend Baldoni in the recent interview.
Baldoni’s name was brought up when Johansson mentioned more details about her directorial debut in the upcoming movie Eleanor Great, which is supported by his Wayfarer Studios.
Johansson made the loud and knowing laugh before subtly acknowledging his legal mess and mentioning, ‘They were super supportive throughout the entire process… but yeah, such a weird timing,’ she added.
The star seemed to make it clear that she would not be distancing herself from the movie’s connection to Baldoni, despite him suing her former partner and Lively.
