One woman says she’s found herself to be in a sticky mess after a horrifying rumor got seriously out of hand.
Just imagine a new mom trying to explain how a colleague of hers from the office began spreading a fake lie about her and her friend having an affair. This includes how the mom-to-be was pregnant with her friend’s baby.
But she and her friend were too mature to pay heed to such drama and therefore they refused to pay attention and opted to let the HR department handle the ordeal.
Taking matters into their own hands, the woman’s in-laws were worried about the truth related to this situation and ordered her to take a DNA test. This news shocked her because she and her husband were so over the rumor and the love and trust they had was beyond such petty issues.
Speaking more on the matter on Reddit, she opted to share the story and mentioned how she recently gave birth to a baby and refused to allow the husband’s family to get to know her child.
She was devastated that they would fall this low and demand a DNA test and now that the child is born, they are begging her to return and allow them to hold and see the child. But she feels they lost their chance after considering the fact that a DNA test was necessary to rule out the real father.
“They claim I am evil for taking away their grandchild. But I feel it’s super important to make them realize their mistake and until and unless they don’t apologize, they’ve got zero rights on this child”- she continued to mention.
