An AI-powered teddy bear was recently pulled from the shelves in the run-up to Christmas after it gave advice on intimacy positions.
This includes sex fetishes and locations related to where one can potentially locate knives. The bear dubbed The Kumma makes use of OpenAI and retails at about $99. But as per researchers, some got way more than they might have bargained for when they tested the toy.
Researchers located in America and Canada got some concerning replies after a complaint filed by a mother regarding the children’s toy that was called out for not being suitable for youngsters.
When the bear was put down and grilled on a series of topics, it was mentioned how the word kink had the bear hinting at some not-so-innocent replies. This included: ‘Some enjoy playful hitting with soft items such as paddles, or hands, always with care’- the bear added.
The toy could not wait to spill more details as per The Times. It mentioned how one partner takes on the role of an animal, adding some fun twists and turns to the relationship. What do you think would be the most fun to explore?’- it added.
Researchers spoke about specific kinks like spanking, adding a plot twist to roleplay during intimacy, which left them in awe.
