A Hallmark star was seen bravely addressing a public gathering a few days after his costume designer wife was killed in the horrifying tragedy that took place in Vancouver last week.
Noel Johansen, who is a British citizen and used to live in London previously, fought back his tears while speaking about his partner.
50-year-old Jennifer Darbellay died and was part of the victims remembered during the vigil that took place in Vancouver when a mentally sick man plowed his car into crowds gathered for a festival to honor Filipino heritage.
Eleven people were killed and dozens were injured after the SUV rammed through a giant and fully packed street festival marking Lapu Lapu Day, nearly 8 pm on Saturday.
Johansen was also injured in the brutal incident alongside his seven-year-old child, Darby. His son had also attended the festival but was unhamed in the aftermath of the deadly incident.
‘Because my wife passed away behind me at the incident’- he shared in a heartbreaking tone. He shared how his wife was one who never celebrated herself in her life. ‘She was larger than life but never made that apparent’- he mentioned, calling her the best human being with an incredible heart.
