Heartbroken passengers are sharing more about the harrowing experience that they had to endure after an airline forced them to sit beside a dead body for four hours after a woman passed away on a flight.
The incident took place on a recent Qatar Airways fight between Australia and Italy and the news left them stunned and saddened at the same time.
The duo shared how they were clearly uncomfortable about the whole matter but the airline did nothing to take their feelings into consideration.
Mitchell Ring and Jennifer Colin were traveling on a Qatar Airways flight from Melbourne to Venice when the woman on board suddenly collapsed and died.
The duo stated how it was so heartbreaking for them to watch and they went to try and move her and brought the chair down.
They tried to wheel her up towards business class but she was very large so they had trouble transferring her throught the aisle, the source shared.
This was the moment when the flight crew members just placed the woman’s body in a vacant seat next to them.
‘Can you move please?’- and they said sure, no problem. However, seeing a dead woman seated on the same seat next to them had them in terror. They were also told that she would remain here and therefore they would need to stay put in their seats for the next four hours. The fact that there were few spare seats around has left them questioning the airline’s staff for their actions.
