Male Teacher Forced To Resign After Dressing Up As A Woman And Doing A Drag Performance For Children


A male teacher was forced to resign after being subjected to a barrage of criticism following a drag performance at his school.

Matthew Kashdan is a French teacher who resigned from Middleton-Cross Plains Area School District in Wisconsin after his drag performance sparked fury among students’ parents.

According to the reports, Kashdan donned high-heeled boots and a shining blue dress as he dressed like a woman for his ‘Fine Arts Week’ performance.

During his stunt, the teacher showed off his dancing moves on the stage while Lady Gaga and Ariana Grande’s hits were playing in the background.

Following his performance, however, Kashdan became the center of a controversial debate as angry parents and viewers of his viral performance accused him of forcing his beliefs onto children instead of focusing on teaching.

“What kind of educators thought this was appropriate? Drag shows are ‘fine arts’? If a teacher is a pole dancer or stripper, can they also perform for my children?” an angry parent said.

“Why aren’t these parents pulling their kids and suing?!?! Kids are there to be EDUCATED and the state has a responsibility to do so,” another person argued.

The third wrote: “This is shameful and just as bad as switch genders day for spirit week back when I went to school in the 80’s.”

Lashing out at his critics, Kashdan accused the people who condemned his actions of being homophobic.

“People were calling me a groomer, people were calling me a pedophile, people are calling me a narcissist,” the teacher, who has since resigned, said.

Despite his performance essentially costing him his career, Kashdan insists he has zero regrets. He has since also said he received a lot of support from students and fellow teachers after his entertaining performance.

“The coolest thing was that when I went back to school after all of this media stuff had happened, all around the school there were these signs posted saying we support you, LGBTQ rights matter,” he expressed in an interview with WKOW.
