Protesters and even the governor of California were seen targeting US Vice President JD Vance recently as he paid a visit to Disneyland, alongside his family, this weekend.
Sources shared more details in the form of a video where Vance and his loved ones were gathered at the Southern California theme park.
This is where the governor of California mentioned, ‘Hope you’re enjoying your family time’ and tagged him to ensure he was made aware of the comment.
Then it was followed up by another comment he shared on X that really went viral, ‘The families you are tearing apart certainly won’t!’
According to reports from local media outlets, some 100 to 150 protesters had gathered right outside the gates of the ‘Happiest Place on Earth’ to cheer on Vance and his loved ones on Friday and Saturday after his arrival at the park had been reported. Protests were similarly held in Anaheim while the VP was in Southern California, and that’s where several immigration raids took place in the past few months.
Many gathered near the residence where the VP is said to be staying, and others were seen chanting slogans against him while holding flags of Mexico. It’s clear the vice president is not getting much love for his comments on the sensitive matter, as this is not the first time he’s been targeted when out with loved ones.
