Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are all set to be honored by the Robert F Kennedy Foundation for Human Rights.
The duo will be getting a reward at the upcoming New York City gala for displaying a heroic stance by standing up against the racism portrayed by the Royal Family.
Kerry Kennedy was seen praising the duo for putting up with so much pressure that came from the British monarchy. Yet, they continued to stay true to themselves as confirmed by the president of the foundation, Ms. Kennedy.
She says that the Sussexes really put up a great fight and set leading examples for others to follow.
But as one can imagine, such startling and bold remarks may end up driving a fresh wedge between the couple and Harry’s dad, who is King Charles.
“These two went to the oldest institution in the United Kingdom’s history and told them what they had done was very wrong. You hardly ever hear of anyone doing something like that!”- she started to explain.
The gala is scheduled for December 6 and both the Duke and Duchess of Sussex would be in attendance as confirmed by local media outlets.
Similarly, the Ripple of Hope Award is going to go out to Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelensky for his bravery throughout the entire Russian invasion of his country Ukraine. And despite so much still taking place, the country is yet to surrender and has vowed to fight until the end.
Kennedy also stated in a recent press interview how proud she was of Meghan and Harry. They both had so much guts to do what they did, she continued.
