Elon Musk went viral recently when he chose to conduct a poll and speak about the potential candidates for taking over the leading position of Twitter’s CEO.
Musk asked users of the app whether or not he should be the one to step down. And they all replied that it was time he gave the chance to someone else because this was certainly not running in his favor.
As much as Musk tried to brush off the topic, people weren’t ready to listen. They felt that Musk believes in freedom of speech and for that reason, he needed to listen to the poll and step down.
When one Twitter user asked who was going to be his replacement as the new CEO of the app, the answer was simple. He claimed that there was yet to be anyone. Moreover, he similarly acknowledged that no one was in the pipeline.
Musk says the goal is to hand over the platform to someone that can do the job right and take it to new heights, but at this time, no one was present.
He vowed to step down, only if he found a suitable replacement but he claims that no one is stupid or crazy enough to take control of him.
Today, a few potential wildcard entries were announced as the replacement for Musk on Twitter. They included the likes of Snoop Dogg and Tom from My Space.
In fact, it was Snoop Dogg who acted cheeky and designed a new poll of himself on Twitter. He asked users what they thought about him taking charge.
Oprah Winfrey and executives from Musk’s own firm called Tesla are other potential candidates. And right now, it appears that the competition is tight as Musk has his lips sealed on who the actual winner from all these candidates could be.
