Taylor Swift is all set to give evidence under oath in the extraordinary court case that arose between Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni.
Shocking new details were shared regarding the case, including the newly filed court documents attained by Daily Mail that showed how the popstar was asked to take part in the deposition after the release of her latest album next month.
Earlier this year, a judge ruled Mr. Baldoni could have text messages between Swift and Lively that pertain to It Ends with Us.
Now the star is set to be deposed in the week starting October 20, but only if Justin’s legal team can persuade the judge to attain an extension in the deadline.
The Gossip Girl actress is suing Baldoni over allegations related to s*xual harassment and fostering a toxic work environment. Accusations he has furiously denied before.
His counter suit for civil extortion and defamation has been dismissed. Ms Swift, who is the godmother to one of Blake and Ryan Reynolds’ kids, has not been willing to be dragged into the case that comprises an ugly legal battle with actor and director Baldoni. Another source spoke to the Daily Mail about how the newly engaged Swift was busy ghosting Lively’s repeated attempts to reach out using texts, emails, and voicemails.
