The sweet moment the Duke of Sussex called his wife over to look at an adorable dog he spotted during a walkabout in Windsor was captured on camera.
Prince Harry and Meghan joined Prince William and Kate as they greeted well-wishers gathering outside the royal estate. They also looked at floral tributes left for the Queen, who passed away at Balmoral at the age of 96.
During their surprise appearance, the ‘Fab Four’ were filmed shaking hands and accepting flowers from members of the public.
Harry was also spotted meeting two pooches during the walkabout – a small grey dog and a golden Labrador named Louis.
One of the videos show the Duke of Sussex crouching down to give the Labrador some ear scratches, with the pooch enjoying the royal attention.
The Labrador named Louis is owned by Sarah Gracie from Surrey, who posted photos of the duke and her famous dog on social media, the Daily Star reported.
“When our little pup Louis met Meghan and Harry as we paid our respects to The Queen,” Sarah wrote on Twitter.
Another video shows the couple getting excited about a small grey dog.
As Harry and Meghan walked past a crowd, the Duke spotted the adorable canine lying on the ground and immediately pointed down to show his wife.
The Sussexes then started talking to the owner and Harry petted him.
Earlier this year, Harry and Meghan adopted one of the 4,000 beagles rescued from an animal testing center in the U.S.
The 7-year-old dog named Mamma Mia is now living with the couple and their children Archie and Lilibet at their $14 mansion in California.
The pair already have a Labrador named Pula and a beagle called Guy. They also have some chickens, who are thought to have been rescued from a factory farm.
