French President Emmanuel Macron’s partner, Brigitte, has ramped up a legal battle against two women who said she was once a man online.
Therefore, the French First Lady has chosen to appeal the decision that was being filed in the country’s highest appeals court, after a Paris appeals court overturned previous convictions against them in the libel case.
Since Emmanuel took office in the year 2017, she’s been at the center of several conspiracy theories related to her gender and intense scrutiny linked to her massive 24-year age gap in her marriage.
In December of 2021, she took serious action and filed a libel complaint against self-proclaimed spiritual medicum Roy and Ray.
The defendants alleged in the video that the French President’s wife was once a man named Jean-Michel Trogneux, who is Brigitte’s brother.
During the four-hour interview with Rey, the journalist mentioned that they found several state lies and scams about Trogneux changing his name to Brigitte before getting married to the French President Emmanuel. That video went viral in the US and led to many more controversies related to her gender. This is especially true when it came down to her shoving her husband’s face before deplaning during a foreign visit.
