Hopes of any survivors onboard the missing OceanGate vessel is further diminishing after a debris field was recently detected during a rescue and recovery operation.
According to reports from local media outlets, the coast guards leading the search operation made the heartbreaking announcement but they are yet to go into detail about whether or not it was related to this particular mission or not.
The coast guards’ spokesperson went on to reveal how tragic of an incident this whole thing has been and has also spoken about how they’re trying to do their level best to locate the missing vessel.
But so far, the search has been so negative across the board because the results that many had hoped to achieve with this mission failed to yield any form of positivity.
Meanwhile, the news comes at a time when the family of British billionaire Hamish Harding claims it is beyond baffling as to why the company named OceanGate took so long to raise the alarm about the submarine’s missing or disappearance.
They added how there was a massive 8-hour delay before the announcement was made and in such situations when there is a fear of oxygen supplies getting depleted, it’s a race against time so each minute and second counts.
The news has really baffled a lot of individuals and has left the victims’ loved ones on the edge of their seats. But this new discovery element of a debris field being detected can never signal anything positive, added another expert.
The field covered in the debris had been located by a remote-operated vehicle that was reportedly seen near the famous wreckage.
