The celeb explained how it was a little bit cringy for her to have the teen sit and watch the entire series of Dawson’s Creek with her.

Katie Holmes explained how she and her daughter have entered a phase where they enjoy doing things together and even if that means she might be getting a little embarrassed on the way, then so be it.

The celeb says sitting down with her teenage daughter is not always fun and games because she does get a little shocked when she sees her mom on television playing roles of a teenager herself. And as you can imagine, that happened to be the case recently with Dawson’s Creek.

16-year-old Suri did not spare a single moment to let her mother know that she was hilarious in the show. There were actual scenes where the star felt like cringing and her daughter just giggled away.

This was during the pandemic when they had little to do so made the most of their time bonding together with television watching.

“I told her that since you’re a teen now, it’s time to watch mommy’s work. And she actually did not know what to expect. But it all did turn out well and in her favor”- Holmes continued.

Katie revealed her daughter does appreciate all of the roles she’s done in the industry. But this one really had the duo laughing.

Katie also explained how weird she feels at times to have a daughter that is the same age as she was when she first entered the industry and began working.

She shares her daughter Suri Cruise with her former partner Tom Cruise. But as per recent media reports, her father has zero contact with her and hence also has no role in making any decisions about her life.
