Shocking reports are shedding light on a doctor who left his patient on the operating table under anaesthesia and then got intimate with a nurse in another room.
The alarming report was recently shared at a medical tribunal that detailed more about the questionable doctor named Dr. Suhail Anjum. The 44-year-old and the unnamed nurse were caught in a compromising position by the shocked colleague at the Tameside Hospital in Greater Manchester.
The incident came to light in a fitness to practice hearing after the Doctor decided to apply to work in the United Kingdom again, despite the shameful act. The actual ordeal is believed to have taken place in 2023.
He didn’t dispute the evidence against him that was presented by the General Medical Council during a hearing in Manchester and shared how his behavior was utterly shameful.
The consultant anaesthesiast explained how he needed a comfort break and therefore asked another nursing staff member to monitor the male patient halfway through the procedure.
Instead, Dr. Anjum opted to enter another operating theater at the hospital where he had s*x with a woman referred to in the hearing as Nurse C.
