BREAKING: Van Gogh’s $100 Million ‘Sunflowers’ Painting Gets Covered In Tomato Soup By Angry Protesters At The National Gallery


The famous Vincent Van Gogh may not be alive physically but his legacy continues to be cherished in the form of his paintings.

Recently, a group of furious Just Stop Oil activists was seen throwing loads of tomato soup over the painting that’s estimated to be worth a staggering $100 million.

The incident took place at the famous National Gallery in Central London where two women were seen being arrested and dragged away by the cops for carrying out the horrifying behavior.

Witnesses present at the scene were horrified to see how cans of Heinz soup covered the priceless masterpiece that is considered to be the world’s greatest art collection.

A lot of art lovers were seen entering into a state of complete shock and awe as they began to film the act during the morning hours, just seconds after the incident unfolded before their eyes.

London is being swarmed by a series of such protests over the past few days. Moreover, the 19th-century painting was said to be unharmed,d despite the soup being hurled at it. But it was a definite scare that a lot of people didn’t see coming.

The protesters were recently identified as Phoebe Plummer and Anna Holland who was immediately taken into police custody after the protest.

A total of two tins of the famous brand’s tomato soup were slammed against the historic masterpiece in the world of art, right before the duo chose to glue themselves to a wall located inside the art gallery.

Just a few hours later, a few others activists were seen conducting a humiliating attack against the cops. This is when they decided to throw orange colored paint across them and across the sign for Scotland Yard.

It is believed the incident had left officers with no choice but to make at least 24 arrests in that period of time.
