One woman is sharing her absolute nightmare allergic reaction experience to lip fillers that left her looking like a completely different person.
The woman was identified as Kailee Jones who hails from Philadelphia in Pennsylvania. Moreover, she stated that it was beyond scary for her to see the image in the mirror because it simply didn’t look like her.
“I felt as if I was some sort of a different person. I felt like an animated character, straight out Monsters Inc”- she continued.
The technology graduate claims that it was not just her that saw the grim change in appearance but also her friends and loved ones, who were speechless when they first laid eyes on her.
“They just began to swell so quickly. I didn’t know what to make of it or what to do”- she revealed.
After a period of three days, the young woman stated that her swelling slowly but surely began to subside. And that was a clear indication for her that she did not need any further treatment and also didn’t require the filler to be dissolved.
Kailee Jones reportedly got her fillers last year in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She always had a feeling that her lips were not good enough or lacked the ‘appropriate size’ when compared to the proportions of other facial features that she had.
Therefore, the 23-year-old reportedly had about 1ml of lip fillers injected into both the upper and lower lips. But within a span of just one hour, it was evident that things were not going according to plan.
The lips began to swell so quickly and Jones says that the more things she began to do to prevent it, the worse her condition was becoming.
For the next 48 hours, this tech-consultant couldn’t eat or talk as her lips ballooned to a great extent, becoming so sore and sausage-shaped in appearance.
Now, she’s warning so many others about her condition, in an attempt to help raise awareness about the risks of this procedure.
