The Texas State University student who was expelled when he was caught mocking Charlie Kirk’s assassination in front of a giant, horrified crowd appeared to claim that he made a serious mistake in the heat of the moment.
Devion Canty Jr, pleaded for assistance with his education costs on GoFundMe when this incident arose. He felt remorse for the actions, only after strict actions were taken.
The Texas State University student said that he did vilely spew profanity at a group of mourners outside the school’s Turning Point USA chapter.
‘Recently, I faced a serious situation where I had to select between immediate expulsion or withdrawing from the university’- he shared on the crowdfunding page. ‘I decided to withdraw, not because I wanted to leave but for my own safety and the well-being of the campus,’ he added.
