The Texas State University student who was expelled when he was caught mocking Charlie Kirk’s assassination in front of a giant, horrified crowd appeared to claim that he made a serious mistake in the heat of the moment.

‘Recently, I faced a serious situation where I had to select between immediate expulsion or withdrawing from the university’- he shared on the crowdfunding page. ‘I decided to withdraw, not because I wanted to leave but for my own safety and the well-being of the campus,’ he added.
