Experts are making more harrowing revelations related to the doomed Titan vessel that reportedly imploded after being submerged thousands of feet underwater.
According to reports from local media outlets, people were mortified to learn that in the year 2020, the vessel had undergone a significant amount of damage after being struck by lightning.
And these reports are now being unrecovered now, raising plenty of eyebrows across the board.
If and when the lightning-striking incident arose, it should have never been hidden.
Similar to how the CEO chose to hide the fact that the submersible underwent a huge sound while going down thousands of feet underwater during one of its previous journeys. Therefore, the company’s CEO ignoring such major mishaps that were clear warning signs of the vessel getting damaged said a lot of how he was more concerned for funds than anything else.
As far as the lighting strike incident is concerned, that reportedly took place in the year 2020. It was believed to be an indirect strike on the vessel while it was undergoing a journey located in the Bahamas.
Moreover, other reports spoke about how the sub’s electronics suffered major damage during that period of time too.
The electronics systems suffered damage that entailed nearly 70% of the internal system and it’s just harrowing that despite a major incident like this taking place, it was still allowed to run and conduct more journeys, added another concerned expert who felt that if the vessel couldn’t bear that, how could it bear pressure.
The significant damage led to the cancelation of a particular trip that same year as the fears of the vessel not being strong enough for a journey was made public.
“These are just some of the many loopholes worth a mention. It’s just so tragic to see how all of this took place and no check and balance in place in terms of what’s going on”- experts concluded while expressing sorrow over the incident.
