Comedian Dave Chappelle’s recently held live performance came to a complete standstill after the star was seen storming off the stage.
According to reports from local media outlets, the star reportedly had enough and was left far from impressed when one fan decided to diss the leading name from the entertainment industry in regards to his unacceptable jokes.
While the leading comedian is known for making some offensive-themed wordings, this next series of jokes featuring disabled people and the trans community certainly raised eyebrows with the masses.
Some did agree that he went one step too far in terms of crossing the line and going overboard. But when he had to face the wrath of his actions, he did not take that down well and hence slammed the comments as rude.
The star’s latest stand-up special dubbed The Dreamer is up for grabs on Netflix. The 50-year-old can be seen recalling the exact time that he met actor Jim Carrey on the set of Man on the Moon. As reported by Deadline, Carrey played the role of a leading performer in the movie from 1999.
And then all of a sudden, he takes a major punch at the trans community by mentioning how awkward and confused the trans community makes this man feel.
Then the star talked about those with disabilities and how he has a really hard time around such individuals.
And then all of a sudden, he starts talking about how he plans on doing all types of handicapped jokes for the day.
“They might not be as organized as the gay community but I do love a great punch down”- the star surprisingly added. There were many jabs including one taken at 28-year-old Rep Madison Cawthorn.
The latter is famous for making use of a wheelchair after being partially paralyzed during a car crash in the year 2014.
So when one fan called him out for the disrespectful act and gave the comedian a reality check, he opted to storm off the stage and not return, calling the show off early that night.
