Federal authorities were seen storming the cockpit of a Delta Airlines flight in San Francisco before they put the co-pilot in handcuffs and allowed him to exit the flight with them leading the way.
The federal agents reportedly entered the flight 2809 from Minneapolis shortly after it landed at San Francisco International Airport at about 9:53 pm on Saturday.
They were seen donning plain clothes and wearing law enforcement badges around their necks. The faces were cropped out in the video shared online.
But passengers shared how the group of 10 officers included agents from Homeland Security Investigations, and others were identified as federal air marshals.
Passengers were in panic and fear after seeing the agents wearing security uniforms and badges storm into the cockpit with guns and various markings.
They pushed through the aisle of the cockpit, and one of the passengers seated in first class shared. She further stated how the officers stormed the cockpit, cuffed the pilot, and arrested him. Soon after that, a second team of agents was seen going back to the plane to collect unidentified personal belongings of the co-pilot. The charges are said to be linked to child abuse material as investigations are taking place.
