As per reports, one male driver spoke in detail about how his sister ended up renting a Tesla and that needed to stop at least six times. As expected, it left him mortified because charging it six times in a day was just beyond ridiculous for him and he clearly had enough.

Xaviar Steavenson says he and his sibling Alice reportedly drove from Florida to Kansas. And what they imagined would be a smooth sailing trip actually turned out to be a ridiculously inconvenient affair.

The driver spoke about how so many others had spoken about their bad experiences but he had no idea that something like this would end up happening to him.

Clearly, they were right and now, he wishes he had listened to them because this much inconvenience is never worth it for anyone, he continued. On the other hand, Tesla has denied such claims. They feel like they’ve never heard of anything of this sort and no complaints of this nature arose in their time either.

The duo also agreed that they were aware that the vehicle would need a lot of charging, considering this intense weather. But what they were really not prepared for was the intensity of charging needed.

“We do realize that the distance was far and the temperature was extremely cold. We knew it would need charging but six times during a journey in this weather is just uncalled for”- the sibling duo mentioned.

On top of that, they claim the battery ended up draining faster than the rate of charging and that is what made matters worse for them with time. They do not recommend such a vehicle to anyone and were glad that they only had to pay rent and return it back, as compared to being stuck with it for the rest of their lives.
