A statue showing President Trump and the late financier and convicted offender Jeffrey Epstein reappeared on Thursday on the National Mall amid a government shutdown.
The bronze-toned figures, shown holding hands with one another and having one leg lifted in the air, were first installed last week but removed by the US Park Police on September 24.
The statues titled ‘Best Friends Forever’ includes a plaque that reads: ‘In honor of friendship month, we celebrate the long standing bond between President Trump and his closest pal Jeffrey Epstein.
A spokesperson for the interior department mentioned how the only people holding hands in DC right now are Schumer and Jeffries after they shut down the government to push their radical agenda.
The National Park Service and White House didn’t respond to a request for a comment. White House deputy press secretary Abigail Jackson, in a statement shared last week, dismissed the installation.
‘Liberals are free to waste their money in any manner that they wish or see fit, but it’s not news that Epstein knew Donald Trump, because Trump kicked Epstein out of his club for being an absolute creep,’- she added. She also shared how the Democrats, the media, and the organization that is wasting money on this statue knew about Epstein and his victims for years and did nothing to help them, while Trump called for transparency.
