It seems like it’s raining statues, and this next product that’s on display in Italy has both locals and foreigners in shock and some in fury.

The appearance of the mega statue in bronze is hard to miss if you’re in Florence, Italy. Yes, that’s just how large and unique it is in design.

Many cannot help but speak about the intricate detailing, but others feel the fact that it featured a black woman in bronze is what they think is an attack on the country’s civilization.

The artist says it’s a 13-foot statue and one of the biggest in the Piazza and is located near some of the country’s most renowned artists’ projects, not to mention the Fountain of Neptune. So basically, you have a millennial black lady who is scrolling on her phone. So why was this bizarre work of art displayed in this location?

The artist says that most of the art displayed in that area is male-dominated, so this one statue was a great example of female power.

However, locals disagree and feel this has been created to undermine the presence of great art. Others slammed it as anti-art and therefore demanded its removal.
