A young father was reportedly killed under the most tragic circumstances at a Starbucks outlet.
According to reports from local media outlets, the suspect killed the dad by requesting him to stop vaping. But that was only because he did not wish to have his toddler daughter affected by the health hazards that this habit possesses.
The father was reportedly stabbed in broad daylight and that too, in front of his little toddler. Sources revealed how the incident was incredibly tragic and his death arose due to the most senseless incident.
The father was upset at a man vaping and passing on the smoke in front of his young daughter’s face, authorities explained. He knew the hazards of vaping and the fact that it was being done in front of his own eyes wasn’t something he was going to compromise on.
The incident took place right outside of a Starbucks outlet in Pender/Granville. The injuries that the dad sustained were critical enough to kill him on the spot.
Sources revealed how the paramedics and the police did arrive on time after desperate calls for help were made by witnesses in the area.
But it was all in vain. The paramedics tried to revive him using CPR but were not successful. And in the end, they just had to give up.
He was rushed to a nearby medical facility and that’s where the victim was pronounced dead on arrival. Today, he’s survived by his young daughter and his fiancee.
The suspect was immediately taken into police custody and charged with first-degree murder. But the victim’s family says it’s just so hard to come to terms with what just took place.
His mother Kathy mentioned how Paul lived for his daughter and his lover. And that was all that his life was about.
