Tragic reports have confirmed the death of actor Alon Aboutboul, who passed away after collapsing on a beach in Israel.
The 60-year-old star was believed to be swimming inside the waters of the HaBonim beach strip in the northern strip before returning to shore and collapsing to the ground in front of horrified tourists.
It’s believed that the star had major film credits in movies like Rambo III and the epic Batman: The Dark Knight Rises. He is said to have complained about feeling unwell after returning to the beach.
A popular tourist destination because of its proximity to the Mediterranean, the massive 4.5km HaBonim strip is said to be one of the most rugged coastal areas in the country.
More reports shared how the paramedics tried to resuscitate the star at the scene after a call was made at 8:22 am, but they were not able to save the life.
Aboutboul is survived by his partner Shir Bily, who is a writer and director, and also by his four children. Tributes were shared online regarding the star’s death, with many expressing condolences from the entertainment industry.
