This next real-life incident will make you believe in true love, all over again.
You may have heard about the term limitless love and that’s exactly what one man portrayed for his dear wife during a recent flight.
A photo went viral on Twitter that featured the old man standing on a flight for a record time of six hours so that his wife could sleep in peace.
Courtesy of Courtney Lee Johnson, the image made the rounds on social media as she tweeted the loving and caring image of the elderly couple.
The image showed the wife sleeping on the aircraft while her husband just stood there staring at her, not moving an inch. The Twitter user captioned the image with the following:
“This guy stood up the whole six hours so his wife could sleep. Now THAT is what you call LOVE!”
Within minutes, many just couldn’t believe what they were reading. Why was a man his age standing on the flight while his wife slept in peace? This was a common question running through so many people’s minds.
Gaining more than 14,000 likes and nearly 2500 replies in no time, the Tweet was a hit with the masses but if you think all of the replies were wholesome, then you should think again.
Some spoke about how the wife should have been thoughtful enough to have allowed him to sleep in her lap, rather than making the poor guy stand. On the other hand, so many others supported the couple by mentioning things like “This is what you call true love.”
Since we are not quite sure what the real story behind the startling ordeal is, one thing is for sure. The world is quick to judge! Do you agree?
