A very sleepy President Joe Biden was not spared from his rambling Vietnam Press Conference which came to a sudden but unexpected end recently.
The staff members at the White House felt enough was enough and before the country’s Head of State decided to make a fool of himself further, they switched the microphone off and allowed jazz tunes to play in the background instead.
Some called his speech out as one that was nothing less than an awards speech while others felt the time had come for the President to start thinking before he spoke, adding how less is always more in such high-profile events.
What is interesting is how the incident has never happened with Biden in the past. In this case, he was mid-flow and trying to give out some responses to journalists. But then all of a sudden, the unthinkable happens and he’s immediately told that it’s over.
The President continued to ramble on about what was talked about and it was more repetitive than anything else.
“We talked about stability, we talked about the Third World, excuse me, the Southern Hemisphere has great access to change. It was not at all confrontational”- Biden further elaborated.
Throughout this time, he did not know that his microphone was shut and therefore he went on and on, with the sound being muted so no one could really hear him.
But the real bizarre twist in the scenario comes when jazz music starts to play over the loudspeaker. This is when the 80-year-old seemingly made efforts to answer more questions and just went on and on.
And when the President tried to give out a few more answers, it was baffling to see the music continue to get louder and louder. And that forced the President to take a step back, put his folder away, and shuffle offstage. This was the point where he ended up disappearing behind a black curtain.
If people still think this bozo is running the country…think again
