Taylor Swift is certainly showing a new side to herself and her music, with her latest album release raising plenty of eyebrows across the board.
The Showgirl hitmaker just rolled out her raunchiest song to date and it’s safe to say that it’s definitely making some listeners cringe over the lyrics. The song that references her fiancé Travis Kelce, throughout the album, Wood, is perhaps her most risque, packed with innuendo, BDE, and double entendres.
The lyrics to the song bring to light the NFL star’s manhood, front and center, and already have fans clutching their pearls over what Swift is referring to.
She begins by singing about bad luck and superstitions, including knocking on wood, and black cats that bring bad luck. However, things take a hard turn in the post-chorus part of the track.
The star sings, ‘Forgive me, it sounds cocky/ he ah-matized me and opened my eyes’- she crooned, seemingly censoring herself before being frank.
‘Redwood tree, it ain’t hard to see/ his love was the key that opened my thighs’- the song went on to reveal. In the next verse, Swift muses about a wedding tradition that could lead to an engagement ring. Or perhaps, something else that’s a firm promise. ‘Girls, I don’t need to catch the bouquet, just to know that a hard rock is on the way’- she concludes.
