Prince Harry and Meghan Markle wish to be a part of King Charles’ Coronation event, sources have confirmed.
The duo would not only like to attend but insiders have confirmed how the couple is really looking forward to the high-profile family moment where the Royals stand on Buckingham Palace’s Balcony and wave to the crowds.
Seeing the Duke and Duchess want to be a part of the grand family moment has really raised a lot of eyebrows, as per insiders. At first, it was not confirmed if they would even be attending.
The drama related to Harry’s new memoir and the palace reacting in a way that included the couple’s only piece of property given to them by the Queen, Frogmore Cottage, being taken away from them abruptly showed that tensions were running high.
There really was great skepticism across the board. Was the King even going to extend an olive branch or exclude the Sussexes altogether?
Thankfully, it did work out well for the couple. Charles wished to have both of his sons present with him during the coronation, whether they held royal titles or not.
On the bank holiday weekend in the United Kingdom, we saw the King extend the invite to the Sussexes. He was very keen to have his grandchildren there and the question arose if Harry would go alone or take Meghan with him.
Now, insiders are speaking about how it’s mostly likely confirmed that they will both be there. But they wish to join others on the balcony for this memorable ordeal, even though the past has shown that those without royal titles are not allowed on the Buckingham Palace Balcony.
Another interesting fact confirmed by insiders is how little Prince Archie’s birthday is on the same day as the King’s Coronation, which is May 6.
He turns 4 and the couple hopes that there will be some sort of acknowledgment and recognition of their son’s big day.
