The shocking and tragic death of Friends star Matthew Perry has left the world saddened beyond words could describe and now the actor’s neighbors are speaking out for the first time.
According to reports from local media outlets, the celeb was one that was everyone’s friend and it’s hard to imagine that he is no longer in this world.
The neighbors were seen speaking to the media about the shocking news and how they just could not believe it. As reported by media outlet TMZ, the neighbors said that they heard a long line of emergency vehicles arrive in the neighborhood and they just did not know what to make of it.
News quickly spread about a medical emergency but little did they know it had to do with the star’s death.
Perry was found unresponsive by his own assistant who called the cops and 911 in what many described as a chilling phone call for help. Meanwhile, reports from the LA Times added how the first responders rushed to the star’s home, only to find him unresponsive at 4 p.m. Shortly after that, it was confirmed that he was dead.
They retrieved his remains from the water of his hot tub that was present near the swimming pool in the backyard. This was located on Blue Sail Drive, a tony street just off the Pacific Coast.
Speaking to the publication, it was confirmed that there were no signs of drugs and also how there were no signs of foul play linked to the incident as the cops were signed cordoning off the area and a coroner’s van arrived soon after that with white tents being placed.
After a few hours, the neighbors spoke about the sights and sounds of several helicopters gathering over the actor’s home as his mom, dad, and stepfather shortly made their way, looking as devastated as ever after the news broke out.
