A Subway restaurant in Georgia is sparking major outrage across the board when it came out with the most offensive sign that recalled the recent tragic OceanGate submersible incident.
According to reports from local media outlets, people were enraged by the owners of the eatery who found it alright to put out such an offensive sign to attract more diners.
The horrifying comment was spotted by one onlooker who found the comment to be shocking and disgraceful and a form of utter disrespect.
Moreover, others were baffled to learn how this was just so wrong on so many levels. And when the image was released online, people were quick to call for boycotts as they felt it was time to put those responsible for this behavior at bay.
It’s only been days since we last heard about the OceanGate horror where all five victims on board the submersible vessel ended up dying because it imploded while going underwater to view the terrifying wreckage at the site.
Now, family members are grieving the loss of all those killed in the most senseless tragedy that still remains to be a huge mystery. And such ads were definitely not helping them in overcoming their share of grief and pain.
Online objectors who saw the joke claimed it was made in poor taste and bashed the eatery’s administration and owners for doing nothing about it.
Meanwhile, some even began a petition to have it removed or else they would be taking legal action.
Meanwhile, one Subway corporate was quick to speak about how such a form of advertising has no place in their business and that it was time to behave responsibly because that’s just a form of common human manners.
