The Miss Universe beauty pageant is one that attracts the masses and this year was certainly no exception.
While there were a number of highlights worth a mention, one woman stole the show, thanks to her stunning attire.
Viewers were left stunned beyond belief after they saw Miss Thailand strut her stuff in a beautiful evening gown made from soda can tabs.
But what was even more inspiring is how the attire was inspired by the most beautiful story of them all. It included her parents that were garbage collectors and she says that they were the thought process behind the gown.
Anna Sueangam-iam who is a 24-year-old took to the stage and looked breathtakingly beautiful in that evening attire. The attire was certainly spectacular and it was dazzling from a distance.
You could see the shimmer and sparkle from a distance and it was definitely a piece worth remembering.
Just one closer look is all it took to realize that it was not your average dress and once netizens noticed that, it just couldn’t be ignored.
This particular dress was dubbed, ‘hidden precious diamond dress’ and it was created by leading Thai fashion designer Manirat. Clearly, it got the praise that it deserved and both the judges and audience members became fans as the contestant stepped out to showcase the design.
But alongside the aluminum can tabs, you could see the sparkly effect created using Swavorski crystals and that is what added a beautiful and magical touch to the gown as a whole.
As one can expect, the gown went viral after images of the contestant were posted on her official social media page.
As a whole, the look garnered nearly 235,000 likes in no time.In the same way, we saw it attain a good 125,000 likes and it’s quite obvious why the attire became so popular as it was rare and beautifully displayed the concept of recycling.
