Soccer superstar Gerard Pique says he is very happy after his split from top Columbian superstar singer Shakira.
The famous sportsman did not shy away from revealing how he really felt about the endeavour, adding how he is glad that he still gets to do what he wants after the split.
The star broke his silence for the first time ever since the controversial split that rocked the world and saw fans heartbroken as the couple shares beautiful children together.
And that’s when allegations regarding his affair began to take centre stage too. Sources mentioned that it was just so heartbreaking to see things play out the way they did. And it was not a decision that many fans were expecting to see for obvious reasons.
Some reports surfaced on how the player was caught red-handed by his girlfriend when she noticed the jam in the fridge was less than how she had left it. And considering the fact that he did not eat jam, it was clear that someone else was in the house.
Therefore, she opted to confront her partner and his silence reportedly said it all.
While speaking during his recent interview, the player mentioned how he is so happy with the way things are working out for him and in his favor. And for that, he’s got zero regrets, whatsoever.
“I just want to look back on the day I die that I did what I wanted to do and I led a life that I wished to lead”- he further explained.
The celeb says his main focus at this point in time is to love and adore his family and friends and all of those close acquaintances. The rest of the individuals are just not important to him and he says that he ‘could care less’ about them.
