Many were more than surprised to see Snoop Dogg continue as one of the star performers during the recent Super Bowl halftime, with many critics adding how it gave the show negative publicity.
Keeping in mind the celeb’s notorious crime record in the recent past, it appeared as if that made no difference to the show’s organizers and sponsors who continued to promote his performances left and right.
Moreover, the rapper also went out of his way to inform the world how his Super Bowl halftime performance was going to be one of his best, and for that reason, they should stay tuned not miss the event.
Just last week, a commercial for the playoff game between the Titans and Bengals was aired which featured the notorious rapper promoting Corona Beer.
“It seems as if so many people have forgotten his numerous crime that includes arrests for guns and drugs, making him a must-have for their brands to endorse their products,” added another expert.
Another critic outlined the star by mentioning how he must be called out for degrading women as one of the stocks he owns on the trade market.
Just one night before that particular ad made the air, experts claim that NYPD officer Jason Rivera was gunned down using an assault rifle. The officer was responding to a crime related to domestic violence in the East Harlem area. Meanwhile, his partner also passed from his critical injuries, just three days after.
But despite the growing rates of gun violence in the city, it seems as if that makes no difference for the world of marketing and in the world of celebs as Snoop Dogg continued to be promoted left and right at the Super Bowl as a headliner.
