Comedian Chris Rock’s brother is not coming slow in terms of confessing some facts about Will Smith.
He revealed that all the rumors and reports about the leading Hollywood actor coming forward to personally issue an apology to the comedian were false.
Chris Rock’s brother Tony insisted that Will Smith should be ashamed for the way he attacked his brother on stage for something that did not call for that kind of reaction.
He similarly explained how the least his brother and star comedian Chris Rock deserved was an apology but never got that by miles.
Rock was slammed by Will Smith after making a comment about Jada Pinkett Smith’s bald head. The actor did not hesitate one bit in terms of storming on stage and slapping him while ordering him to never take his wife’s name again.
And while Smith may have thought he was doing something brave, he was not only criticized by the world but by the Academy too who opted to ban the star from attending future events.
Seeing Tony’s version of the aftermath of the famous Oscars slap really put a lot of things into perspective for a lot of people. It was previously speculated that Rock was the one who failed to accept the apology. He was slammed for not being man enough to accept the apology and move on.
But now, it appears from his brother’s comments that there was no apology, to begin with.
Tony was seen going on further to outline how this behavior was unacceptable and his brother deserved every right to be upset at the famed Hollywood star.
He also mentioned that Rock had every right in the world to joke and talk about Will Smith on his own Netflix hit show, Selective Outrage.
