Jada Pinkett Smith is not making fans happy after claiming she and her husband Will Smith will be ready for a divorce by the next decade.
Many felt the actress had completely lost the plot and perhaps needed a reality check in terms of all the ridiculous things that she was saying.
Meanwhile, others felt she was out there to catch attention and it’s about time someone called her out for her ridiculousness.
Smith made headlines this past week when she went viral about how she and her husband Will Smith were in fact separated for the past seven years. Therefore, the couple made it seem like they were a couple but in reality, the truth was far from that.
When asked why the duo doesn’t just get a divorce, she mentioned that it’s not that simple and how they were working their way through the relationship, before they called it quits.
“We get asked all of the time why don’t we just get an amicable divorce. And that’s when I want you all to know that it’s not going to happen. But yes, perhaps in the next ten years, we do see it taking place”- she continued.
Other striking reports added how the star didn’t like how people were painting her as an adulteress of the industry and that the Oscar slap took place because of her actions. But she did not plan on sitting quietly after hearing that, adding how it’s not fair to be blamed for something you knew nothing about, she concluded.
If that was not enough, she even mentioned how Chris Rock asked her out on a date when speculations arose in the industry about a possible separation or divorce from Will Smith. Hence, she says that he asked her out and she was baffled, asking him what he meant.
And when she explained how it was only a rumor with zero truth, he apologized several times and backed down.
