As a parent, the safety of your child is one of the most important aspects of your life. And that means saying hello to plenty of unpopular parenting opinions, this young mom explained.

Her kids are young and that means she’s making sure to take extra precautions while raising them. For instance, she’s barred them from going to sleepovers too.

So why does she not allow sleepovers, well, it’s because she feels they’re not safe at all. The thought of knowing your child is asleep in someone else’s home, other than theirs is daunting, she mentioned.

And no matter how much she may trust her friends and relatives, those kids aren’t going to bed anywhere but her own residence, she added.

They felt that is not the case and if you raise your kids well and make sure they happen to be in the right company, then there is nothing to worry about.

“They can be safe in their own homes too, it’s all about good upbringing!”- mentioned another commenter.
