Tragic reports are speaking about the death of two sisters who were found in the Texas flood disaster with their hands locked together.
The news was confirmed by their loving aunt, who shared how they were always together, and this was proof of just that.
Brooke and Blair Harber were just 11 and 13 and were reportedly staying at their grandparents’ home, alongside the Guadalupe River.
This is when floodwaters inundated their entire neighborhood in Hunt during the morning hours of July as per NBC affiliate KXAS TV.
In the statement that was shared recently, the girls’ aunt mentioned how the parents went to check on the kids but the flood water was just too high to reach where they were residing.
At about the same time, Jennifer explained how Brooke had texted, ‘I love you!’ to her grandparents. She and Blair were later found dead nearly 15 miles away in Kerrville. When they were retrieved, their hands were still locked together, making it an even more heartbreaking sight for her to witness.
This was a symbol of their powerful and eternal bond together. They also had trust that they would be saved and rescued together but faith had other plans for them, the family shared as they enter a period of mourning.
