Taylor Swift was left red in the face when she asked Lorne Michaels a simple question.
The popstar wished to have her Saturday Night Live sketch that poked fun at her squad removed. However, things didn’t exactly go the way that she had planned.
Michaels chose to refuse and stand his ground, telling her directly that he has never and will never negotiate with terrorists. As one can imagine, that did take the star by surprise.
As reported by Vulture, the SNL creator contacted Taylor Swift’s manager with a request for her to make a surprising appearance on the show. The sketch he wished for would feature a version of the singer from her musical video called Bad Blood where the theme was an apocalyptic cult.
That didn’t go down with Swift and she asked for it to be removed immediately as it did not represent her or her group.
She directly called Michaels so he could get rid of the sketch entirely. She also informed me that she wouldn’t be making the cameo like that. Michaels disagreed and wished to do the sketch anyway, adding how he didn’t negotiate with terrorists. That really did take the star by surprise but she ended it gracefully by sending him a bouquet, hoping there was no bad blood between them.
