Renowned singer and actress Jane Birkin has reportedly passed away at the age of 76.

The famous style icon was known to be battling cancer and has just passed away at her residence in Paris, France, sources have confirmed.

The terrifying news of her death was broken by her own caregiver today. They revealed how the star was found dead in her bed inside her residence in Paris.

It was just so tragic and shocking for obvious reasons. This was not the end that many had hoped for but now, it’s reality that they’re being forced to live with.

In May, her health really did start taking a toll on her and the star reportedly passed away thing morning.

“We request for privacy during this difficult period of grief and mourning. We appreciate all the love and support coming our way for the star”- a statement the family went on to read.
